The ‘FlirtAR’ App Uses Augmented Reality to Help Users Find Love
By: Ellen Smith –
This app works in real time, finding suitable candidates, using a geolocation tool. Based on the location, potential matches who meet the required criteria will popup in the form of little bubbles. As the user moves around, more profiles will appear, representing more matches in the area. Once a user finds an appealing profile, a simple click will reveal further details. If a user is feeling adventurous, the app provides the option for exploration, enabling them to hover to different locations to view the various profiles.
This AR-infusion allows for a more immersive experience, bringing more creativity to a sometimes static dating practice.
